Chairman David Qin with the former Lao President and Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh

On May 13, 2026, David, Chairman of Qinggong International Group, and his delegation visited Vientiane, Laos, and held high-level talks with former Lao President and Prime Minister Bouasone Bouphavanh and the current Minister of Industry and Commerce.
The two sides conducted in-depth exchanges on deepening China-Laos new energy cooperation and promoting electric commercial vehicles and supporting infrastructure construction. Faced with abundant power resources and tight fuel supply, Laos regards new energy vehicles as a key strategy for green transformation and energy independence, and has introduced favorable policies to boost national electrification. Senior Lao officials fully recognized Qinggong International’s local development plan and promised comprehensive support in policy approval, site selection and project implementation.
The company has completed local company registration in Laos, and will focus on launching electric heavy trucks, light trucks and electric construction machinery for local mining, agriculture and logistics, while building charging stations and solar power facilities to form a one-stop green transportation ecosystem covering vehicle sales, energy supply and after-sales services.
As Laos is entering a booming period for new energy vehicles with a clear national target of over 30% electric vehicle ownership by 2030, Qinggong International’s investment conforms to the Belt and Road cooperation and seizes Southeast Asia’s huge new energy market opportunities. The mature development model of ANDA Laos Branch will be replicated to drive the market layout and business expansion of ANDA Tanzania Branch, referencing its product positioning, government cooperation mode and full-industry-chain operation experience. Meanwhile, this standardized operation system will be gradually rolled out to all global ANDA branches, forming an integrated global layout of new energy commercial vehicles and construction machinery, realizing resource sharing, coordinated development and mutual benefits between China and overseas markets.
